Dear Clients and Friends,

I want to take a moment to share why I’ve been absent.

Before COVID, I was already facing a deep personal transition and quietly stepping back from the beauty industry to focus on my husband, John Winston Clark, and my mother, Eloisa Briones Dominguez. When the pandemic began, it gave me the unexpected opportunity to become a full-time caregiver to both of them.

Many of you knew I was documenting John’s journey with Parkinson’s disease, exploring stem cell treatments and alternative medicine in hopes of finding a cure. During that time, his condition worsened, and my mother’s health declined as well, eventually leading to dialysis.

On July 24, my husband, John Winston Clark, passed away. Eight months later, on April 5, my mother Eloisa Briones Dominguez also took her last breath.

This has been the most devastating chapter of my life. I stepped away without explanation, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I simply didn’t have the capacity to share while I was living through it.

Through it all, your past support, love, and memories have meant more to me than I can express. You have been part of my strength, even in my darkest moments.

Today, I’m taking my first steps forward.

I am reopening my books and returning to the beauty industry. While I’ve closed my previous salon, I am rebuilding—starting fresh in Lafayette and Discovery Bay, with a new San Francisco location coming soon.

This is a new chapter for me—one of healing, rebuilding, and reconnecting.

I would truly love to see you back in my chair. It’s been a long time, and I look forward to catching up, hearing your stories, and sharing this next phase of life together.
